About Your Host

The host lives on the property in a separate building (per local regulations).  She occasionally enjoys a swim in the pool and may take a quick dip when guests are out or if it won’t intrude on your privacy. Your comfort is always the priority.

Additional Notes:

• The pool and hot tub are “use at your own risk”. All adult guests (and visitors) must sign a liability waiver before using them, and follow posted safety rules (no jumping/diving, no glass, swim diapers required, etc.).

• No Events are allowed.  Small gatherings with non-registered guests require prior approval and may incur additional fees.  Unauthorized gatherings may result in cancellation or penalty fees (see House Rules).

• The maximum number of overnight guests is 8. A $100 per night fee applies for each additional guest with prior approval.

• The “management fee” listed at checkout is a $50 Accidental Damage Waiver, covering up to $500 in minor, unintentional damage (like a spill or broken dish). No stress—just let us know if anything happens during.

• Heated pool upgrade available March-December by request with a fee.  Hot Tub heated year-round. (no fee); Firewood available for fireplace + fire pit (no fee).

• The gardener works Saturday mornings, quietly and unobtrusively; Guests are welcome to clip fresh herbs from the garden

• A vehicle is necessary for travel as the BNB is located in the countryside. Uber, Yellow cabs, and the Crozet Trolley service are available as alternatives. For trolley reservations, early booking is recommended.
