Crozet Trail System
The community-maintained greenways winding through Crozet are wonderful for a relaxed stroll, a dog walk, or a slow morning jog. Nothing strenuous — just pleasant, well-kept paths that connect neighborhoods, parks, and open space. Perfect if you just want to stretch your legs and breathe some fresh air.
Mint Springs Valley Park
Mint Springs is one of the most versatile parks in the area. The trail system ranges from a simple 1-mile lakeside loop to more forested moderate paths — you choose your effort level on the day. In warmer months, there’s a seasonal swimming area that’s fantastic for kids. Add in picnic shelters, a playground, and gorgeous views, and this is a great half-day destination for families. We recommend it highly.
Beaver Creek Park
A peaceful escape just minutes from downtown Crozet, Beaver Creek Park offers gentle lakeside walking paths with lovely water views. The lake is popular for fishing and kayaking (no swimming), making it a great option if you want fresh air without much elevation or exertion. Easy parking, no entrance fee, and a calm atmosphere — a lovely quick-stop on an afternoon out.
