If you’re up for a longer drive into Shenandoah National Park, Blackrock Summit delivers breathtaking 360-degree views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The boulder-scramble summit is particularly spectacular in autumn when the foliage turns. Note that the park charges an entrance fee and the drive takes about an hour from the farm — plan for a full day and bring a picnic. It’s absolutely worth it.
